Race Fuel Question

Race Fuel Question I have recently had varying advice on the use of a mix of race gas and pump gas in my car. My plan was to run a 50/50 mix of 110 octane race gas and 91 octane non-ethanol based pump gas to produce a 100 octane fuel for my car.
My car is a bolt on car with stock internals (for now) and I am looking for a few more hp to lower my ET's before I go into the motor .
So my question is will the increased octane gain me power in the 1320' or will it cause unburned fuel to exit the exhaust port due to the increased octane? My thought was to bump the timing up a couple degrees at WOT but I am hoping that I can make gains as it is without hurting anything else in the motor.
Any advice or experience???

to much octane can hurt power(i've seen trap speeds drop a fair amount from to much)
if you are not getting knock retard from pump gas you are fine ... if timing is being pulled from light knock sure that higher oct mix can help .... tho best bet is to fine tune things. find out others with setups close to your own and see what they are running
