My fuel pump went out and I'm debating to replace it with another stocker, or with a high flow walbro or racetronix... I'm trying to figure out if it's going to be a benefit for me to install the high flow while I have to get it done. I plan on doing future mods like heads/cam but it may not be for a while.

Should I upgrade now? Or save money now and R+R the pump again in the future?

 

I say put the walbro in, you wont want to put another fuel pump in. But if you have the money the racetronix is the way to go.

how hard is it to put a new pump harness in with the fuel tank in place? I'm thinking I'll use a walbro now and when I get more money buy a 70 dollar harness kit.

 

just buy a walbro and direct replace

if you think there is a voltage issue down the road you can add a $6 relay and some 12ga wire.

 

Exactly, david... When my stock pump went out I went ahead and did the walbro knowing that later down the road I was going to do Force Induction of some sort...It's paying off now because it's one less thing to worry about..
