Default dual walbro harness problems

ok, here's my delima. i had somebody else install the dual walbro's in my tank when the turbo was installed. i've just recently been able to actually drive the car and it's now blowing the 15A fuse going to the fuel pump relay. i'm assuming the 2 pumps are being fed by the factory wiring which i know is a no-no. i called Lonnies and asked if i could just buy a harness w/out the pumps, but his agreement w/ racetronix is to only sell it as a kit. does anybody make a harness for the dual intanks that i could "make" work, or am i stuck buying a new kit? also, where's the best place to find a trap door to access the fuel pump since there is no way i'm about to drop that 9" AGAIN!

Do a search for the "trap door mod" , i prefer to pull the tank over the trap door though, you dont have to drop the rear end to pull the tank though.

For the wiring, if you cant get the dual harness, then you could run a 10 or 12g wire back to the tank and run a relay for the second pump.

does it hurt to have both pumps running full time?

surely there is somebody that will sell me just the harness.... if not, could somebody point me in the right direction of building my own? i've got no problems building my own if i can find the right relays and plugins. i've personally wired everything else on this car minus the FAST and fuel pumps, so it shouldn't be that hard.

Some say there is a heat issue with it but you can trigger the second pump with either a hobbs switch or a relay if using nitrous.

As for running your own, it is verry simple, a spool of 10g wire and a few relays are about it.
