Need help, possible fuel pump problem Hey guys, I'm posting this up for a friend. He has a 2002 SS with an MS4 and bolt-ons. He is only running an email tune and said the car is running a tad rich.
The best explanation of the problem is that when he is driving the car at a normal rate, the gas pedal seems to be normal/soft, but the minute he begins to accelerate or flat out floor it the pedal begins to harden and will not accelerate. When he stomps on it outright, it goes nowhere. I know this is vague, but those were the best possible symptoms that he could gather. Could it be a passing fuel pump or some other fuel related part? Please post any ideas/suggestions.
