Default Fuel line help

Im in the process of taking the rail and the injectors off to clean up the garbage inside of it and maybe send the injectors to be cleaned...what my question is, is how do you disconnect the fuel line from the rail. Also do you just pull the injectors out of the manifold, or is there another way..

(if its posted somewhere in the forums i apologize, been looking for awhile and didnt find anything)

You have to use a fuel line disconnect tool, they usually look like a scissors and have 5/16 and 3/8s on them, under $10 at auto zone. The injectors have a clip holding each one into the rail. You just undo the clip and pull it out. For re-inserting use a small dab of oil or grease on the o ring to make sure it doesn't get torn during installation.

IMO getting new o-rings for the injectors is wort the dollars. btw, pulling the injector out of the rail is a PITA with the stock rails. almost broke my damn hand the other night pullin the injectors out of one rail. put the injectors immediately into a plastic baggy too

well, i got everything apart....reason in doing this is becuase i got the cylinder number 7 misfire code, thought maybe the fuel line would be clogged or the injector since i already tried the wires and plug. Is there a way to check to see if the injector sprays alright? And if so, is there a way to clean it or am i better off getting it professionally done?

done on a bench will include testing for leaks, pattern, volume, electrical problems. The injs are then cleaned in an ultrasonic cleaner, retested for the above, and the wear items are replaced. [includes new o'rings, and filter baskets]...
At least, this is how I do them....
