Default my idea for a nasty tank ventilation system

i dont have paint here at work so ill explain it...

on the right side of the filler neck is a pipe thread....

im going to use some extra -6 line with a 45* hose end and run it as high as i can up to the gas cap then put a ball valve on it. i will be also using a vetilated gas cap....

when i am filling up ill just turn the valve open and when im driving it ill close the valve and let the cap vent it.... i will leave the plastic piece off that surrounds the neck unless i find a ways to just have the **** sticking through...

ill zip tie the ball valve off as close as i can so it will only take a second to get to.

what do you think?

Are you really still having issues with your vent? I have rollover check valves in stock for this.

i have spent very little time trying to fix it cause right now its not a huge issue but im gonna try some things while its cold and i have some time.

where do those valves fit on the tanks? side or top

i was looking for a fix that i dont have to drop the rear or tank.

Thanks

You run a hose up and the valve attaches to the end of the hose.
