Default injector knowledge

ok so i was told i need # 42 injectors. wtf is #42 im new to fuel injection does 1 lb make that much difference?

It means that the injector can flow 42Lbs of fuel through it per hour if it is help open the entire time(also called static flow rate). I saw in your other thread you are building a motor. The 42lb injectors are one of the best out there, they can flow plenty and are cheap.

Doing what the right way? BTW when youn install the injectors do not forget that you have to tune the IFR table in the PCM too.

getting the right parts. this is my first ls1 for me to build. yea what sucks is im going to have a fresh motor and i have to get it to fire up and idle then take it to get tuned & re-programmed half way. put some miles on it then finish getting it tuned and dyno'd bleh to much work!

What are your goals, what do you want out of it. You are building a 347 right?

id like to pull low 12's maybe high 11's out of it. the car ran a 13.06 @ 106 with a k&n when the guy i bought it from first bought it. i dont think it will be that hard. yea 347, i wanna build it for spray but i dont plan on using it unless i think ill need it.

**** thats easy. A good size cam with a well matched set of heads will get you in the 11's easily especially with a set of gears. Then use the spray to get into the 10's.

i want to use a stock bore ls1 ross racing pistons flat tops forged, I beam rods, stock crank 243 heads, .591/.593 114lsa 242/244 @ 50 i think, pro manifold intake 85mmTB 42 lb injectors, roller rockers 1.7, new 1 piece pushrods, new springs of course, probably a set of pacesetter headers with 3" true duals 3400 stall not sure on the rest yet
