continuous priming noise!! help please!

Default continuous priming noise!! help please!

ok guys people who have after market fuel systems, before i start my car i turn the key to prime the who fuel system! then after i turn the car on i here a continuous primeing .......shhh ca tha shhh ca tha sorta noise (say that fast*)

Anyone know what this is?
A noisy pump. Most aftermarket pumps are noisy. As long as its a steady sound what are you worried about? Is this a Cadillac?

I think you have a problem. The pump could be miswired or the relay could have fused contacts. Normally, if you turn the ignition switch to “on”, without starting the engine, the PCM will run the pump for about three seconds and then turn it off.

sounds about right, all the wire lume has melted!!
