Default How much fuel press do I need?

OK so I'm going to install a TRT, great people to work with and a sponser , stage 3 turbo kit in a few months and am taking care of the "little" things before its installed. I'm getting home from iraq for R&R in a couple of weeks and for now those "little" things are some suspension stuff as well as new fuel rails and press regulator.

How much fuel pressure do I need? Rember that the turbo is not going on for a while and I just want to know how much pressure to dial in at the regulator for my current set up, check out my signature.

Also which rails and regulator is everyone running? I'm thinking about going with the FAST rails and ? regulator. Has anyone used the FAST? Any problems? Any better one out there? Which regulator should I go with?

I'm using and like the FAST rails, -8an feed line, -6an return line and a Weldon regulator. Add 60lb/hr Mototron injectors and a twin pump Racetronix kit and you're set for safe big power.

BTW I like to set my base pressure at 58psi and boost reference the regulator for a 1:1 rise if you're planning 15ish psi.

Thanks. Reading around here thats what I figured for fuel psi but I figured I would ask and make sure.

The kit comes with the 60# injectors and the new fuel pump so I'm good there. I'm planing to go with 6psi of boost till a new forged bottom end goes in but that will be a way off. I'm just about breaking the bank with the turbo, clutch, drive shaft and on and on and on.

Just a note to anyone reading this and thinking about a turbo, I know it's a little off the topic of fuel pressure, just like everyone says a FI set up WILL ALWAYS COST MORE THAN YOU THINK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Do your research. The TRT kit is $6000 and comes with just about everything you need... to install the turbo. Don't forget about the trans, drive shaft, rear end, suspension and brakes. 500hp to the ground is great but if the clutch dies or the rear end blows or if you CAN'T STOP!!! it's useless. Just thought I would throw that in.
