Default fuel line and system questions on blower car

I know I need to drastically upgrade my fuel system for my D1SC kit I just purchesed. I plan on running high boost levels and want to make around 700rwhp+. I already purchesed a set of 60# Seimans injectors and plan on buying a external Bosch 420L/hr pump. From every similar set up I've seen this should be more then enough or just right. Do I need to replace the fuel lines though or should it be done for peice of mind? What about a fuel pressure reg., does that need to be installed and why? Would I need to modify my tank and do the external pumps work alone or do they just assist the stock pump? I'm just looking to learn a little here before I dive into the build and pop my motor because the car leaned out.

I am also looking for info on a F/I system. I think you would need 8an line for that power 10 i think if you are closer to 1000hp. You would need a rising rate regulator, so that the fuel pressure is increased with your boost so it can physically push the gas against the boost trying to push it back.

Thanks for the info, now all I need is a little more of it. It seems like not to many people know to much about building up fuel systems. I have so many questions and it seems like out of all of the topics in this forum, fuel is most difficult to get answers out of. I really want to know about E85 and what I would need to run it.

a -8 for supply line should be fine, you can use your factory supply line as the return.

get an aeromotive boost referenced regulator.

fuel rails aren't needed but will help.

you need to do a sumped metal tank like out of a 98 car to do an external pump. some vendors sell the tank already done up.

if you have a plastic tank, just do a twin walbro/twin racetronix setup.

I offer a twin intank setup that includes, Fast Fuel rails, Aeromotive Boost refrenced regulator, -8 feed, -6 return, and a casper hotwire to feed them hungry walbros. I can do this system for either a 98(metal) or 99-02(plastic) tank setup. I sell this setup without injectors for, $1395.99 . I can ad the 60# siemens for $419.99 , or the RC enginering High IMP 72# for $679.99

So I couldn't bolt up an external pump to my car right now because it's a 99. I don't understand why, I was planning on running the Bosch pump that Speed Inc sells (external).

You have to be able to pull fuel correctly from the tank so the external pump does not starve. Dual Walbro intank setup will supply you with plenty of fuel Upgrade the lines and rails and add the regulator up front as that is one of the weak links in the fuel system. Our Stage3 street kit would be sufficent or a setup like CountryBoy's. (not particulary fond of the bung in the tank but it has worked)

Thanx guys but I'm aiming for around 700 rwhp on the high side maybe a 50 shot on top of that. 1000rwhp is a dream for me, I'm doing this on a small budget!!! That's why I was hoping a single Bosch 420 would work.

You got that right

Just mentioning the power handling of the setups you are just over where one of those pumps will feed so your next step up is either dual intank pumps like our Stage3 street kit or a version of our Stage1 Race kit like Country Boy has. I have some cheaper versions I can work up for you with cheaper lines and fittings. Give me a call I will explain the differnt setups to you and see what we can work out for you.

ive seen 900rwhp using twin intank 255 walbros, aftermarket rails with a boost ref. regulator on the stock 3/8 feed line from the tank and adding a return line on 60lbs. this would be plenty of fuel for you and you can do it really cheap!!!
