I am not sure how true it is but I was told that if you run svo injectors, your ls1 pressure needs to down 3 to4 psi. does anyone know if this is true

I have never heard that, you can vary your fuel pressure if you want as long as your tuned for that pressure.

SVO injectors are generally rated at 39PSI.
The industry standard is generally 43.5PSI.
This would equate to an apx. 5.6% increase in fuel flow over the SVO pressure rating.
The LS1 cars run at 58PSI nominal which is an apx. 21.9% flow increase over the SVO pressure rating.

Why not run as max. fuel pressure as you can get? Of course, you would need to rescale your injectors. More fuel is good...

It would be best to keep the base fuel pressure at 58PSI.
