fuel pump help asap
fuel pump help asap I bought just a walbro 255 pump from a memeber on here not realizing you need a wire connection and a new sock. well my car is sitting at a buddys shop right now and i need to know if i can use female spade ends to connect to the pump and if it is possible to reuse the factory sock?

If it is a true direct replacement pump, the sock will fit. If it is a universal pump, it may have a different sock diameter. I have no idea what pump you actually have.
You could reuse the sock, if you carefully remove it.
Spade connectors are not recommended (but they will phyiscally connect) since there is no positive retention of the wires. If they come loose, you have to pull the tank again.
