What should the fuel pressure at the rail be on a 99 LS1?

55-60psi is usualy the base pressure.

If I could piggyback on this thread a bit.

Yes, it should be 58 psi at idle and above.

On an LT1 you pull a vacuum hose to get the manifold vacuum bled off to get the wot fuel pressure at idle.

Do you do a similar thing on the LSx?

On the LTx I always pulled the vacuum hose on the passenger side above cylinder 6. I can't seem to find a good place to do the same on the LSx.

The lsX motors (except some of the vettes) have a standard regulator. This is why you have a injector flow rate table , instead of a single number for the injector size.
