Hard starting after Walbro pump
Hard starting after Walbro pump I installed a walbro pump in my 99 ls1. Every time i tried to start the car it took a couple of times cranking to get the engine to fire up. i did not have any starting problems before with the stock unit it just fired up right away,so I'm curious if other members are having the same issues or if this is normal.
I'm not sure if it will help, but look down a few threads in my post about my Racetronix issues. Basically my pump (which is pretty much a Walbro) isn't holding pressure at the fuel rails after it cycles when the key is turned to "run" (but not start) or when the car is turned off after running. This is causing hard starting for my car. A couple people in that thread reported similiar problems with a regular walbro.
