That's how I did mine except my feed comes from under the tank with two inline pumps that Y together before the T fitting. One pump is activated by the hobs switch. It seems to work great.

diggin this up since im looking it upand alot of people are asking alot about them too. I particularly like the routing diagrams. thanks guys. i take it, without modifying the stock rails, aftermarket rails are pretty much a must to get this to work huh?

Adding a boost referenced FP reg to a 2004 GTO, is the fuel system the same, and where is the stock fuel filter located? Great info here!

So you are using the stock EVAP line as a return line and getting rid of the EVAP solenoid on the intake manifold?

if that's what works, I don't even see how these lines run, look to go into the trunk floor!

So my question is did you take the stock FPR out of the pump housing and put it up by the Fuel Rail?

I was told by a reputable fuel system builder yesterday that the stock evap line is not adequate for a return line. They said it is only designed for vapors and not liquids. I was told to run a 6an line back for a return and keep the evap system working like stock. Anyone care to comment on this? I would also like to know about the factory regulator removla. Does it get left off for a free flowing return inlet? I know the factory regulator dosent go back on the fuel rail though.

Joining in on this thread resurrection..

The 'reputable fuel system builder' doesn't make money off you using your evap line as a return. It works just fine. Many have done it. I just saved the headache and bought a line kit from Nasty.

You install a FPR up front. Run your feed directly to the fuel rails. Your return comes off the fuel rails into your regulator, and you return comes off the regulator back to the tank. This isn't the only way to skin this cat though (but it is the best way)
