Default external fuel pump?????

I am thinking about installing an external pump that is triggered off a nitrous type throttle body switch to run at wide open throttle. Will this reduce the pressure dramatically if at all when not operating? I know how to wire this, but I am just curious if there is that pressure drop when the external is not on? It will be running a 422 ci with no power adders. TIA

seems like a lot of extra trouble when you could just replace the single intank with a walbro gss340 and be done with it.

not sure about external pumps but i run twin gss340's in tank and have one cut on under boost

the base fp is lower when the first one is on by itself but the checkball in the pump seems to do a good job of keeping the gas from circulating in the tank. i run the pumps in parallel, check my sig link for pics if interested.

I just installed a Kenne Bell boost-a-pump on a H/C Nitrous car.Ran a 10 gauge pump feed. The boost comes on when the Nitrous sprays.Haven't tested the results yet.
