BAD GAS!!! Hey guys I need your help! On the way back from SLP day in Ennis I got gas at some little hick town gas station. About a half a tank later I noticed I was getting crappy gas mileage so when we pulled over to eat as I drove through the parking lot It felt like it wasnt firing right. So I filled up all the way hoping that It was bad gas and that filling it up would mix it and hopefully fix the problem. Two days later it was still doing it so I took it to a friend who works at a dealership and they replaced the filter, and pump and drained and flushed the tank. When I got it back it still did it a little and he said it might untill i got half way through a tank. I filled up one last time and I am on half a tank again and it is doing it just as bad as it did before I got it fixed. I would realy apreciate the advice thanks.

Possible Solution: You might have to replace your 02 Sensors, they might be dying like mine.
When we ran it through the comp: Sensor Switching Insufficiently/ Bank 1 and Bank 2 Fuel Control shifted Lean...

Re: BAD GAS!!! well my friend said when he dropped the tank there was what he thougt was water and some white stuff. So I think it was bad gas but shouldnt it be gone by know? Should I flush it again? When your 02 sensors go out shouldnt it set off the ses light? Theanks for the help.

anyone else wanna chime in..? </strong></font><hr /></blockquote><font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">what year is your car? my car has been getting poor gas mileage also and i have changed fuel filter twice, change plugs and wires and tried putting fuel injection cleaner in the tank with no prevale.. you think it might me my sensors going bad or how about getting my whole fuel injection system serviced at the dealer?

Re: BAD GAS!!! Its a 2002 SS. I would get it flushed if I were you just to be safe if you think it might be bad gas. I dont know how much it will be because I did it under warranty.
