Default Should I replace the pump if I need to replace the sending assy?

Car has ~75K miles, stock fuel system. Sender's been quirky and I want to replace it. I have a friend with a used Walboro pump that thinks I might as well replace the pump while I'm in there. Not sure of which Walboro model it is...he said it cost over $100 and he'd let me have it for ~$40.

Pros, cons, suggestions? <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />
