best drop in pump for a 98 TA.
My stock TA pump, likes to whine a lot when its been on for over an hour or so. Im not sure if its on its way out (i always fill up at 1/4 tank, of not before)
So when it does finally go, what to replace it with?
The car is stock, and will most likely not go too crazy anytime soon, but if im going in the tank, is it alright to put a huge pump in there?
Thanks.
Ryan.

they make a PnP kit for the 98s. I have one in my car and have installed another one in a friends 98 SS. They are the high pressure Walbro 340 pumps with dedicated wiring to the battery to increase the voltage to the pump. Had mine in for a year and change with no problems. A single should support about 550rwhp but I am still going to put dual pumps in with one arming with the nitrous.
btw, my stock pump was going out the same way, it started to scream.
