Question? How to change gas?
How do I go about changing from regular unleaded to a higher octane gas? Do I just let my tank run to empty, or do I have to go changing filters and things? Any help would appreciated!

Re: Question? How to change gas?
well, actually running these cars to empty is a bad idea too.
Just fill it at 1/4 tank, with the good stuff, and continue to refill at 1/4 tank marks from there on out.
The fuel pumps are cooled by the fuel, and running the tank dry will result in loss of pump life, and/of pump failure. you need to drop the rear end, and exhaust to get the tank out.... not cheap.... so just fill it when it gets to 1/4 tank, if not before.

With these cars you shouldn't even know about anything less than premium/super. You're essesntially blowing your foot off to run a marathon. The regular is for your lawn mower. Just run your tank down til' the "check guages" light comes on. Find a station and fill er' up. No point in changing your fuel fliter out until you've put 10,000 miles on it. You change it every ten grand. Your car outta' run a hell of a lot better.
