It's in the fuel tank.
There are two ways to get access. Move the rear axle and then drop the tank, or cut a hole in the trunk deck and access it from the top. IMHO, the hole required is too big and cuts too much metal. It took me ~6 hours to change my fuel pump, by myself, on jackstands in the garage. I'd rather do it that way than cut a hole.
Of course, it is a nasty, messy, dirty job (lots of dirt builds up under there, and gas just stinks). But it's not terribly difficult.
