Locking gas caps for Fbods
I bought one this week (a Stant, of course...does anyone else make them?) to try it out. Had the fear of the old code popping up, but so far no codes at all. I keep the factory one in the Stant box in the car, just in case.
Being in San Jose with high gas prices and the possible threat of someone stealing and/or sugaring the tank, I decided to get it. It seems to be working great, so I thought I would post results in case anyone was thinking of trying one but afraid of codes. More than likely it has to be ordered, as mine was (from Kragen) but only took 2 days. I think it was around $12. <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />
