F/P?? How common???????
F/P?? How common??????? My fuel pump is going out will replace with a Granatelli FP.
My question is, i see many post's of guy's FP's going out!
Typical? How many miles do you guy's have on the stockers? Or, are you simply replacing for racing?

Re: F/P?? How common??????? My 99 started getting weaker at around 40K at 3.5 years old. FP was good at idle and cruise, it just dropped off badly at WOT. I installed a Walbro 340 pump and all is well now.

Re: F/P?? How common??????? Chris, what EXACTLY were your symptoms when your pump was going out?
My car takes a little longer to crank @ times.?
Cooler days are fine. However, when it warms up outside is when i crank the car 3 or 4 seconds before it starts.
Like you, idle is fine & the car runs great.
Also, had a FP guage on it. Car showed 56psi. went to lunch approx 1hr & the fuel pressure had dropped....... If this helps.
