Default Walbro in tank install on 98 question

Just put an intank walbro on my 98. Do I have to drill out the 'bucket' or is that just one the newer plastic tanks?

don't believe you have a bucket. should be a metal arm that you have and your pump attaches to that.

I just wanted to make sure before I put everything back in place. I just hose clamped it to the metal arm. I couldn't get the tank all the way out with the rear still there...better safe then sorry.

For the '98 F-bods, you have to drop the rear end or the tank won't come down. Had to replace mine twice and the second time I cut an access panel to get better access. This cut about almost two hours off my install time done by myself. Dont have pics but I think someone has posted them b4.
