vapor locking
has anyone else had a problem with vapor locking on their car. Im not 100% that this is the problem but i get a mad misfire after i start the car again after the car has warmed up and been drivin. You can stomp on the gas and the problem goes away. Its been suggested that it might be vapor locking. Ive had several mechanics look at it and they cant seem to figure it out. Injectors have been cleaned, and im out of ideas. please help. do have lts on but only for about 2 months.

Vapor lock is not typically common with fuel injection since the fuel boiling point is raised under pressure. Therefore this is generally reserved for carbed cars.
EFI cars with external pumps or very large pumps can have a similar problem due to excessive hot fuel being returned to the tank causing the pump to cavitate. This is not an issue with an intank LS1 style setup.
The car could be suffering from many other things, such as a clogged tank ventilation system, bad pump venturi setup or a clogged filter sock.
You need to verify the fuel pressure to be sure there is a pressure related problem. If pressure is still roughly 58# when it acts up, then it is not a pump problem.
