Default A few more injector offset questions :)

First is, since the values in the table are time, they act in relation to some event(like opening of the intake valve maybe?) that always happens at the same time right? And is the time value a delay after said event, or does it say 'start applying a voltage this amount before the event'? And then on the voltage numbers across the top, are they how much voltage needs to be applied, or a residual voltage left over from the last cycle? It seems to me the right side(lower voltage labels) affects lower rpms, where the voltage has more time to dissipate, hence the pcm needs to give it more, so the labels would be how much is left over. Am I way off here, or thinkin right?

The injector offset tables are time it takes the injector to open from the time the computer commanded as a function of the cars voltage and the pressure in the intake manifold.

voltage offset is simply a added delay time counter before PCM applies voltage to an
injector. I would be careful mucking with this for you can imagine what would
happen if your forcing PCM to fire injectors too late AFTER the sparkplug coils
have been fired or what position the piston is in.

LSx engines use a Multech II design injector which are about 12 ohms, thus all
Bosch Multech II injectors would have the same internal coils which are designed
to open more quickly then the older Multech I which are about 4 Ohms.

The amount of time from when the pcm comanded injector open to the time the pintle starts opening is the offset. and of course is variable thru the p/w range!
