Fuel injection or Carb

I'm getting ready to install a 5.3 in an 89 chevy truck. Should I stick with the engine as is or change it to a carbed engine? Yes I plan on improving the performance once the engine is in and running.

It all comes down to, what you want to do. With injection, you have to have it tuned, or buy the tuning software and learn how to do it yourself. A carb setup is a lot more forgiving when you make mods to the engine. I have the carb setup but I am gathering parts to go to injection. I am going to get HP Tuners and learn to do my own tuning.

fuel injection is more accurate but carb set up look and kick ***.
