Default Kink in fuel line?

The plastic line that goes from the tank to the filter has a pretty bad kink in it where the zip tie holds them all together. Im not even sure how to get it out ugh. What do you guys suggest?

If I wanted to replace it with somethin better what are my alternatives? Altho ide like to fix the one on it for now its almost like the line is too long and thats why it kinked.

Here are some pics its not as bad as it was when I found it since I cut the ziptie and tried to squeeze it back out but I hate that plastic line. I would like to run a steel braided hose or something.
