dumb injecter question!!!! jus need a quick response hay guys my car stock has #26 injectors i want to upgrade to factory #28 cuz i know i could get um cheep but will i need to program my ecu for those injectors?? and how can i tell the differance between the #26 and #28 they are both the same color!! thanks guys
Only way for sure is by part number. Buy you mods you don't need the biger injectors yet. As it will cost you money to have the PCM tuned for the bigger injectors and gain you nothing in performance, I would wait to you do a cam or something else that would require you to the get the PCM tunned.

k thanks man ill look into injectors after i probly get my ls6 intake,tb, rockers and longtubes. i want a cam but i dont know i live in california, i must need to pass emissions
I upgraded mine to LS6 injectors when I swapped my intake since I had them already. It did run rich for a while, but it was nothing the stock tune couldn't handle when I wasn't at WOT. At WOT I was running around ~11.2 afr until I adjusted my tune, but as long as you stay in closed loop you're fine. If you know someone that has HP Tuners, you can just copy the injector table from a Z06 and you'll be damn near perfect, it only takes a couple of minutes to fix.
