I bought some NOS octane booster at Walmart. It says will add 3 points. Is this stuff any good? Will it even help on a stock ws6 with those few mods I have done? I'm going to the track for the first time tonight to see what kind of times I can come up with.

When it says it will add 3 points, that's 0.3 octane. It will take you from 93 to 93.3

 

Your kidding me. What a joke, 0.3 octane isn't worth no friggen $10. That'll be the last time I buy that crap.

On 5/27/03 in the Diognostics and Tuning section I asked some octane booster questions. The header reads "Has anyone used Toluene to boost octane?" I got some good input and I think its worth your time to read. As of this time it's in the fourth page of the section. You may also call Union 76 racing gas @ 800 345 0076 I got some very good information out of them.
