Should I clean used injectors before installing? I am going to be installing a used set of 28# injectors on my car soon, (to replace the 26# ones).
Could I and should I clean off the used injectors before I install them? Is is bad to used carb cleaner on injectors? Is there a prefered method of cleaning them, or should I leave them as is?

Re: Should I clean used injectors before installing? You have three options:
Pay to have them cleaned by a profesional on a flow bench(10-20$ per injector)
Clean them yourself using mineral spirits and q-tips(I did this once with a set of injectors that sat for a while and were not stored correctly and it worked just fine) remember to remove the rubber o-rings
If they were working fine and stored properly then you should be able to stick them in and go.
