i got a shrader valve for the fuel rail that is ment for the ls1 but its to big the threads dont go in the end to screw in. i have a complete ls6 is the ls6 fuel rail shrader valve smaller than the ls1?

for right now i only have the cap holding in the fuel will this work for long?

 

Something tells me no. That cap is not meant to hold 60 PSI of fuel.

 

can anyone tell me y the ls1 valve is to big in diameter to go in.
