Fuel Pump Stays Running with key "ON"...??

could be a stuck relay but could be wiring issue or computer...alot. Have to follow the signal it it is getting triggered to keep going it is something else if the trigger wire on the relay gets signal for 2-3 sec. but the pump continues to get power it may be a stuck relay.

Hi, If the internal relay contacs welded when they touch. It will stay on. Get another relay. Other thought. The oil pressure sensor has an internal contac in it. Get oil pressure, bypasses the relay. Makes the fuel pump come on. Unplug it to see if thats the culprit. Dave

Most likely the oil press switch is stuck. Pull the pul and see what happens. With the oil press switch unplugged the pump should only prime. If you went to start the car it should run for 3-4 sec and die.
