will stock pump work??
will stock pump work?? i am changing the intake to a victor jr. that will come with new fuel rails and i am installing #42 green top injectors. with head and cam A4 with 3800 stall and 9" rear i am putting down 365 to the tires. i am installing a dry hit of 150 HP and i am running out of money for the project. if i go ahead and install the intake and rails and injectors then spray will my stock pump be able to pump the needed pressure. i will have a saftey switch on the NOS and a gauge to watch my pressure just be safe.

my buddy told me i could have his pump but not sure if it will work. it is a 65 GPH pump rated at 150 to 170 PSI. was in a Lt1 car. i have everything that i need to get started on the project just not a pump or regulator.
Ummm, that is a lot of pressure. I suspect he really meant 50 psi to 70 psi.
Normally volume is measured in liters per hour, a.k.a. lph. Doing the conversion, it is probably a 255 lph pump, such as a Walbro. Unfortunately, there are different brands, some of which are a drop in replacement, some of which are not. Does he know what brand, and preferably, what model, the pump is?
It is a lot of work to replace, btw, so you want to do it once only, if possible. JMHO.
