how to use MSD BAP on NA/N20 setup?

how to use MSD BAP on NA/N20 setup? I bought the racetronix pnp kit for my 01 vette and planned on running the MSD BAP also. I know the KB BAP doesnt need a boost reference and the MSD does, but I think people are running the MSD on nitrous apps. Did some research and didnt find much on N2O apps. I called MSD and they said that the BAP needs a boost reference to work properly. Has anyone ran the MSD on a N/A or N20 app? if so, how did you get around running the boost reference to add the voltage to the pump? I want to make sure it will work before I buy. Thanks
