Does the Racetronix and the stock fuel level sender jive well? The reason I am asking is that I have this on my 98' Formula. The stock gas tank according to the owners manual has a 15.5 gallon capacity. If the car is virtually on Empty it will only allow me to fill 12.X gallons of fuel every time. The car will read Full, too. My question is, does the Racetronix cause the factory fuel sender to not read as accurately? Thanks.

The Racetronix harness should not effect the level sender's reading as the harness simply has pass-through wires. You can confirm this by unplugging the harness and plugging the fuel module directly into the factory bulkhead connector.

It's actually called a reserve, GM would rather have you fill up sooner than later. Due to the submerged pump design you don't want to ever run too low. As you get below that last gallon or two the fuel will slosh left to right in corners and the venturi pump will run into air pockets.
For those of us that have done the Walbro swap you can't really go below 1/4 tank because of the way the gas moves in the tank in combination with the fact that there is no longer a venturi pump to keep the walbro submerged. I think the Racetronix overcomes this a little, but it's still susceptible to the same issues.

Yeah, GM does this so people don't run out fuel trying to eek out every last drop.
When my low fuel light comes on I have about 3 gallons left in the tank.
