Default fuel pump relay

i just replaced my relay today, and noticed the new one has 5 prongs instead of the factory 4. the numbers for the prongs match up, but i was wondering if that extra one would cause any problems since that extra prong goes into a slit in the connector that wasnt occupied before.

Shouldn't be a problem, as there shouldn't be any connector or wire there. Its the 87a, normally closed side of the relay, used on some applications, but generally not with fuel pumps.

yep. when i wired up the SS spoiler i had to bypass it, but i didnt know if it would interfere with the connector for the FP. but i didnt think there would be a fifth prong in the new one.

and i had to velcro the new one with the clip since i broke the retaining pins on the clip to the body.
