Default 97-98 Corvette regulators

I have the Speed and Performance fuel rail with the vacuum line connected to the intake.

Have done a search about the vacuum portion of things, and can't find an answer.
Engine setup is stock.

Car has a miss, and with the vacuum hose hooked up, I get 53 psi with the key on and it drops to 49 psi with the engine idling. Get 58 psi with the engine idling and the hose off.

If I am not using a supercharger and don't need boost fuel pressure increase, is there any harm to leaving the vacuum line off? The later regulators in the tanks and the Corvette filter / regulator don't seem to have a vacuum reference, so it seems like it shouldn't be a problem.

Thanks in advance.

It depends on how your pcm is setup, stock, they are not vacuum referenced, and they are just referenced to atmosphere, while some will say there is a hose on a stock 97-98 vette, I have been told it just goes to the fenderwell in case fuel leaks from the regulator, it won’t go onto the engine.
