Fuel pump replacement Well my fuel pump is on its way out. I hooked up a pressure gauge and am not getting anywhere near the PSI I need at WOT. So it is time for a new one.
After doing some searching I am going to go with a Walboro 255 pump. But I just want to make sure I understand one thing correctly.
It looks like I can't just buy the pump and stick it in. I would either have to go with the Recetronix kit and get everything, or do a bit of modification to make the Walboro fit with the stock housing. Let me know if I go that right. If so I think the Recetronix looks like the way to go.

Technically, you do not have to buy the Racetronix kit. But, it makes the whole process so simple it's hard to reason why one wouldn't. The small price premium you may pay more than makes up for the assache of assembling the system from scratch. And I'm an incredibly cheap SOB!
