Default Can injectors be to big?

I bought 42lb injectors even though I do not need them yet, but would it be ok to put them on the car and get it tuned... I have full bolt-ons and a cam that is being installed soon alone with a stall so I figured put the injectors on and get it all tuned together...

Yep, no problems at all, just find someone that knows how to tune.

I remember some guys complaining about when you go to low impedance high flow injectors you will have alot of issues with small pulse adjust.

As long as the pulse width you need to idle isn't less than the min your injector can give... what's the problem?

I think if your car had to command .5 ms to idle and 1 ms was the least it could do then you would just be too rich at idle. It should still run.

42Lb injectors will be fine, but to answer your question, yes injectors can be too big.

When you start running very large injectors (>60lb) the idle pulse width becomes very low and you start running into the minimum PW that actually flows any fuel. You start seeing poor atomization and potentially puddling. Which leads to erratic idle in most cases.
