E85...who done it?
E85...who done it? Just curious how many of you guys have made the switch to E85, and what your thoughts are on it. Any long term issues etc? Its becoming more and more tempting to look into... ( I have read some of the E85 threads, but Im looking strictly to see if anyone has done it, and would advise against it?)..I would think alot of us would want to run it these days?..

I have been running it for awhile now and have not had a single issue with it. Just take time with your tune and you will be fine. The only downfall is that not every gas station sells it so if you plan on going further than your tank will take you, bring your laptop so you can switch back to gas.

Ron just tuned my 1995 z28 convertible on E85 Saturday. I like the way the car runs and E85 is alot cheaper. My car is a stock bottom end LPE heads ,Joe Overton cam, Eric Bradby ported intake and throttle body. The car on 93 octane N/A made 442.1rwhp@6300rpm and 405.0rwtq@4900rpm.. Then we switched to E85 and the car made457.8rwhp@6100 and 421rwtq@4800rpm. This is also an LT-1 motor not an LS-1 motor so everybody knows. I am happy with the E85 so far. I would recommend contacting Ron@prodyno to help you out..
