fuel problem, need help! I was at the track tonight getting ready to make a pass when all the sudden the car died and wouldn't start. I hooked up a fuel guage and noticed I didn't have any fuel pressure at all. I just put a Walbro intank in a couple weeks ago and it's worked great. Anyone have any suggestions or anything I should check? More than likely I'll pull the pump and check the two connections, but other than that I'm not sure what to check. The fuel pump fuse was fine.
Re: fuel problem, need help! exact thing happened to me when i had my first walbro installed. Id say about 99% the hose blew off the pump. You need to get some good fuel hose and T-bolt clamps to hold it on. On some kits the hose that comes with it is junk, and the worm gear clamps will cut in to it and destroy the hose.
