Using stock in-take fuel pump as boost pump?

Using stock in-take fuel pump as boost pump? I have thought about going to FI. Using Aeromotive components mounting outside of the fuel tank, can I use the stock pump as a boost pump to move fuel from the tank to the inlet side of the Aeromotive pump? Will it flow enough to the provide feed the high output pump?
Re: Using stock in-take fuel pump as boost pump? that would be an in-line set up.. and the stock pump will be a drag on your aeromotive.. what hp level are you looking for and have you ever HEARD an external pump?

I figured that the stock in-tank pump would feed the Aeromotive. The flow rate of most pump goes higher at lower pressure levels. If this still doesn't do the job, can the Aeromotive pump draw the fuel out of the tank with the stock pump replaced with a fixed tube? I am trying not to get a sumped fuel cell.
