racetronix fuel pump problem

racetronix fuel pump problem my car has been apart getting a racetronix fuel pump kit and harness and a few other parts. know when i finally goteverything done i tried to start it and itsnotstarting..i checked the fuse for the fuel pump and it was blown..i changed it and it blows as soon as you turn the key on..any suggestions?
Sounds Like A Short In Your Wireing Or Mabye A Bad Pump.. Id Unplug The Pump And Replace The Fuse It If Blows Then Its Your Wireing If It Dosent Blow Until You Plug It In Then Its Gotta Be The Pump

ok i installed the racetronix pump and everythings was good. i ran it with the factory wiring for a few days and the got the harness in and inastalled it..as soon as i turn the key on it blows the fuse..i know its not the pump because i hooked it back up to the GM wiring today and she was fine.i played with the racetronix wiring and if i disconnect the ground its fine but as soon as i connect the ground and turn the key on..pop..the fuse blows..what the hell could it be? i ohmed out the wire going to the alternator and its not showing any thing out of the ordinary ..please help
I do not know why you needed 2 threads for this problem but... Is it possible you got a screw through the harness? Check fro power at the ground you are connecting when the fuse blows. If you have power there you have it touching another wire somehow. It may have been a problem in the assembly process as well just need to track down where the short is coming from.
