Default Is converting to E85 this easy....

For any LS1 F-body.

Install 42# Delphi/Lucas injectors.
Change the injector flow rate table for the new injectors.
Change Stoich to E85 [9.765].
Drain tank & fill with E85.

Is that it...

I know that you can 'tune' the timing tables to make use of the 105 octane
of the E85.
But, are there any other tables that need changed for E85 ??

Yes, that's what I did on my truck, only I already had the 43's for my turbo, but did up those to 60's for more boost.

Yep, that simple. As you said, bump the timing. Also, most stations are using E70 around our parts so 10.7 is a better stoich value to use.

Ya, Actually I ended up with a 10 stoich for mine, as that's the low limit set by efilive, but I could have gotten them to lowered if I'd wanted to. Fuel trims were good there once I got a couple tanks though it.

Hay,
I just did my 1998 Z28 automatic this past Saturday the 17th
12.7x @ 110MPH on 93 gasoline, "bolt-on" car, estimate 400HP.

I'm on stock 28.8# injectors right now, & have tested all out, with no power problems.
Injector duty cycle of 118 on top, 6,200RPM ... but AFR ok....
Feels like 10-20 more HP. added 4 degrees everywhere on high octane table.

On a full 1/4 mile pass I will be at 100 % + duty cycle for 1 second at the top of 1st gear, & 2 seconds at the top of 2nd gear, after looking at my log files... I may just go to the track & try it...

I know that I shouldn't , but I did... until my new 42# injectors come in on Wednesday...

BUT, with the cooling effect of E85 Any stock 'bolt-on' LS1 should be able to get by with the stock 28.8# injectors, because how long are you really over 100%.....

100% duty cycle reached at 5,000 RPM.

I have hard start/ cold idle issues that need addressed with cranking + cold idle tables.... anyone know which tables to change, & by how much....

Which Software? You need to increase Grams/Second in your idle air flow tables, and startup air flow. I'd start with about 15% more and just play with them till it starts nice all the time, especially cold.
