Fuel pump wiring with relocated battery
With a relocated battery...
Is it better to draw power from:
1) A front mounted distribution block
2) Directly from the altenator (with 10ga wire, or off of the 2ga wire feeding voltage to the battery.)
3) Directly from the battery (Shortest wire to the pump)
Pump is an Aeromotive Eliminator, and obviously I would be relocating the relay if I shorten the wiring.

Either way will be sufficent you will get your best voltage off the back of the alt. but you will get great power straight from the battery with that short of a run.

What do you think about hooking up to the altenator feed where it connects to the cut-off switch. Gotta be a little stronger voltage coming from that wire since it charges the battery.
Either way, I'd like to move it just because I cant stand looking at relays screwed to my A/C delete panel.

I have mine wired straight to the battery, its about a 1 foot run. I didn't feel like running the harness all the way to the alternator. I measured the voltage up there, and at the battery and the difference was minimal even with the car revved up. Probably has something to do with the fact that i'm running 1/0 wire to the trunk and have a 1/0 ground and a couple 2 ga grounds towards the front of the car (one from the block to the chassis).
