93TransAm90

Hello im new to the site so forgive me if i am in the wrong area for this....but i am having some problems with my 93 trans am.i went out this morning to fire it up and it would not turn over. then i heard this POP... and 10 seconds later when i eventually got it to come on the RPMs were idling at 50% below one and the car was sputtering bucking and stalling like it was about to die it was not getting enough fuel so i gave it a little gas and let off it started sputtering again.....so i turned it off went inside then 2 mins later came out and it fired up just fine this has happened to me a few times.does anyone know what the problem could be related to? i was thinking the fuel pump was going out but i could be wrong... it is a 93 trans am lt1 80000 miles thank you for your time and help
