newbie question
Can you go overboard on a fuel system? With the mods I have now can I go ahead and install a large set of injectors and fuel pump and it run alright with a tune? Or should it be the last thing you do? I am a complete newb when it coes to the fuel system so any info will help.
YES you can go too big on fuel injectors
talk to Nasty N8 up here
you can make up to 500HP(rear wheel) and be on 42# injectors and they will also run fine on a stock car
DO NOT, PLEASE DO NOT BUY ANY 60# injector
check out my sticky on the fuel and injection page linky below:

ask me any questions about that and I can tell you how to fill it in and get you situated with what you need

well what power are you looking at eventually making?
I'm seriously never going above 550HP (Rear wheel) so I just grabbed the racetronix PnP kit with their 42# injectors. its the same as a 255Lph pump and it also has the option of running the BAP(boost a pump) which gives more voltage to it

i probably have similar goals. I use to say i wanted 600-700 at the rear. But then i started to learn how much it takes to really get there. With out a power adder you have to be hair shy of being and engineer to make that happen, unless you have the money to pay someone else to do it. I might add a procharger one day but for now I'll be sticking n/a. How much did that kit run you?
