Default What to use to cover trapdoor?

I cut a trapdoor for the racetronix kit. What would be the best thing to use to cover it? Im looking for a piece of non-corrosive metal. I haven't been able to find any. A couple hardware stores had like tin sheets but i know they will rust like none other.

What should i use and where can i get it?

I went to online metals.com and ordered a plate of 1/4" thick aluminum from them. You can order a specific size, and any thickness and material you could ever want from them (even titanium). I just took that, drilled and countersunk four holes, and used sheet metal screws and thick weather stripping to hold it all down and seal it. I couldn't have been happier with how it turned out.

Try Mcmastercarr (yes two r's at the end) dot com. They sell all different shapes and sizes. My metal connection is another on line metal retailer you may want to check out.

its actually only mcmaster.com... but they are very expensive for metals. What happened to the stock piece you cut out? I just reused my stock piece with some hinges...
