Ok well my prob is this when I get around 6000 rpms . My motor starts to get like staticky like it doesnt have the power it should. And the service Engine light starts to blink could that be a fuel issue?

Take it to a car parts store in town and figure out what the code is. It's most likely a misfire/detonation. Could be a number of things, inadequate fueling, plugged cat (happened to me-only mine stumbled at 4500rpm).

 

I had a problem where my car started breaking up about 4500 RPM'S. I found out it was spark plug wires and they only seem to be lasting me about 18 months at a time (I am on my third set in under 4 years). The only thing is I wasn't getting an engine light.

 

if it's blinking that's a misfire. change your plugs and wires first, then if that doesn't fix it give me your car and i'll let you know what was wrong with it. not getting yoru car back though
